The combination of lifting and augmentation can be applied to certain types of sagging breasts which would not reach the appropriate size after a mere modification.
By removing the excess skin from the breast, the mammary gland complex with the areola and nipple are moved upwards.
However, it is necessary to choose a suitable surgical procedure for breast augmentation as it is quite demanding, both in terms of planning (surgical drawing) and in terms of surgical technique.
The breast modification surgery combined with its enlargement is done under general anaesthesia and requires 2 to 3 days of hospitalization.
At the earliest, it is possible to fully return to everyday workflow 2 to 3 months after the procedure.
