Differences from
Brow Lift

Brow lift is a method of levelling and tightening the forehead area by lifting the eyebrow line.

This procedure is relatively invasive and leaves a long scar hidden in the hair.

The general Brow Lift surgery can be successfully replaced by Endoscopic surgery, leaving only several small scars, each about 1 cm long.

The procedure is gentler and the healing is faster with less swelling, bruises and pain.

However, Endoscopic Brow Lift has limitations and mainly addresses the drop of eyebrows and forehead.

Brow Lift surgery

The so-called bi-coronal incision was used for this performance and it still is – it is an incision made across the cranial vault beyond the hairline between the ears.

Endoscopic Brow Lift surgery

Instruments under the control of an optic camera (these are for instance used for laparoscopic gallbladder surgery, the most common and well-known of endoscopic surgeries) are used to loosen the tissue.
