Lip Augmenation Surgery
The lip augmentation surgery can help with smaller lips which have a small red lip area by boosting the volume of the lip.
The principle of the procedure is the implantation of the so-called corium (the lowest layer of skin deprived of epithelium), which we take from one or both of the patient’s gluteal folds. We implant this non-absorbable material into the tunnel under the redness of the lip.
As a result, not only is the lip volume augmented, the lips also appear redder.
Hospitalization in this case lasts around 24 hours. The period of surgical convalescence is about 14 to 16 days. Full physical activity is possible 4 weeks after the surgery.
The surgery is done under general anaesthesia. If both lips are augmented, the procedure takes about 90 minutes.
