Facelift Surgery
Facelift is a facial operation that aims to tighten the skin of the face and neck and reduce some of the signs of skin aging. The principle of the procedure is to remove excess skin from the sleeping area of the face and neck.
The surgery is done under general anaesthesia and lasts for 90 to 120 minutes. Very often, this classic surgery is accompanied by vibration-assisted tumescent liposuction of the neck and chin. The result is the restoration of the natural angle and shape of the area between the chin and the front of the neck.
The patient is discharged on the second day after the surgery. As the head is bandaged, the bandages need to be changed during the checks and removed 10 to 14 days after the surgery.
The post-operative treatment takes about 2 weeks, however, full load with all the risks is recommended after 1 month post surgery.
