Happy Lift

APTOS-Happy Lift is one of the most up-to-date methods which can help improve the appearance of the skin after it sags and loses its elasticity due to the age and gravitational changes.

The procedure is usually performed under local anaesthesia, at the client’s request, it can be performed under brief general anaesthesia. The procedure time depends on the individual situation and averages between 30 and 45 minutes.

APTOS-Happy Lift can be combined with minor surgeries such as sucking fat from the chin or reduction of the nasolabial fold.

The effect is gradual. According to the fibre manufacturer, it lasts up to 5 years, but from our experience it lasts from 2 to 4 years.

However, this method still has its limitations and cannot be used in all cases.

APTOS-Happy Lift is especially suitable for people who:

  • cannot undergo conventional surgery
  • fear radical surgery and general anaesthesia
  • want to improve the result of a classic surgery

POSTOPERATIVE CARE

Bandaging needs to be worn for at least 48 hours, then follows the correction of the lift and cutting off the ends of the scars.

We recommend relieving the tension by a headband for a few hours a day for about a week.

RISKS

In the hands of an experienced surgeon, the risks associated with the procedure are minimal and very rare.

There can be:

  • small bruises
  • transient small asymmetries that can be improved by massage
  • tension felt in the subcutaneous tissue

If general anaesthesia is requested, the risks associated with it must also be considered.

The Procedure

Happy Lift is a surgical method in which threads, which are inserted using a hollow needle, are used to tighten sagging facial tissues, less often other parts of the body.

After removing the needle, the threads remain in the tissue and the ends of the threads that protrude above the skin are pulled to allow the tissue to tighten.

The threads have opposite hooks on the surface, which sink into the subcutaneous tissue and thus allow it to be lifted.

Over the following months, the fibre dissolves, creating new connective ligaments in the tissue, which strengthen the tissue and gradually further improve the result.

Is it possible to get rid of the dark circles underneath my eyes?

Lower eyelid surgery is used in order to remove the dark circles underneath the eyes.

For this procedure, a personal consultation is required.

The lower eyelid surgery can either be performed in a classic way or with a laser. Although the laser is more modern and quite gentle, it can not be used in every situation.

What is the best time to have the protruding ears of a child surgically repaired?

It is recommended for pre-school kids to undergo this procedure, as it is less painful for them.

In children up to 10 years of age, this procedure is covered by the health insurance company.

Do you also use galvanic iron in order to treat the skin?

Yes, we do.

Galvanic iron is one way you can keep your ageing skin in shape without having to undergo surgery. It rejuvenates the skin, smooths wrinkles, revitalises the scalp and smooths the whole body.

I have acne scars and and sore holes on my face. Can they be removed?

Acne scars on the face usually extend into the deeper layers of the skin and only surgery can improve the condition.

Mechanical sanding is used first, shallower scars and previously sanded scars are then softened by surface laser evaporation of the skin surface.

Small areas can be treated on an outpatient basis under local anaesthesia, for larger areas a short general anaesthesia is required.

The healing time is about 10 to 12 days.

If the skin is in a very bad shape it can be improved by repeated laser procedures at intervals of 6 months.
